[REVIEW] Action Figure Panji Manusia Millenium, Saras 008, Astral & Mister Blek

If you Indonesian and live in 2000 era, you will know this superheroes.

Panji Manusia Millenium is a superhero aired in RCTI. Starred by Primus Yustisio, and it was be the idol in those era. The costum is looks like Robin (the friend of Batman). I forget how the story goes, you can search it in google. And right now what we talk is the action figure who also come out in 2000 era. I got it few months ago, with loose condition and the prize is about Rp 20.000 - Rp 30.000 exclude the shipping, it's cheap enough. The material in this figure (probably) made by plastic mix with a little bit rubber. The detail is quite good, but I dunno which factory who made this. Big chance this made by Indonesian people too, and mass product. Nowadays this action figure is quite rare, I know another people sell this figure in Rp 100.000, more expensive than I got. The dimension of the figure is 13,5 cm X 5 cm. Come with black, silver colors, with light brown for the skin, and the robe is dirty white and made by tight web.

Saras 008 is a female superhero and sponsored by some celluler provider 008 at that time. I forget how the story is, but probably she got the power from a cat (you can Googling right?). I got this figure with Mister Blek with about Rp 30.000 exclude shipping. It's quite cheap for a rare action figure nowadays. This figure is a little bit messy, because the left food is perforated. The detail of this figure is horrible, you can see the face not so accurate and a little bit spooky. The material is plastic, a little bit like bootleg Chinese toys but I think this figure is totally made by Indonesian even I got this with loose condition. This dimension is 15 cm X 5,5 cm. You can see the color mostly black and white, plus light brown for the skin and red and gold for the buckle, also gray for the mask.

Astral is the partner of Saras 008. I forget how his story in the series. The figure prize is about Rp 20.000 ,- exclude shipping. Just like Saras 008, the quality of this figure also messy, probably those days not many Indonesian people know how to made mass action figures. You can see those flirting eye also spooky enough. Made by cheap plastic just like Saras 008, and the dimension also the same. This action figure come with gray and white colors, black as accent, light brown for his face and brown for the belt.

Mister Blek is the super villain in the Saras 008 series. Just like another villain story, he want to rule the world. The "Blek" word probably come from Black word because his color is black and he's bad. He come with a robe at the back side, it's cool to know it. But the quality of the figure is lack, just like what I told you before. The dimension and the material same as Saras 008 and Astral figure. Mister Blek color mostly in black, black and silver line in the middle of his body is made by cloth also with his red and black robe.

This picture describe how the articulation goes. The point of articulation is in the neck, shoulder (Panji is just move 360 degree and Saras, Astral and Blek can move 360 degree and open wide), elbow (can move 180 degree to the back and front), crotch (can move less than 90 degree to the front and back) and knee.

Thank you for coming and see this review. The conclusion is this figure is not like American figure middle prize articulation. It's really good to collect because the history and quite rare. But for some details is really bad.

[REVIEW] Bima Satria Garuda Comic volume 1

Hallo, finally blogging again and hope you enjoy it.

DISCLAIMER: All rights belong to the owner (RCTI / Ishimori Production). I just giving a little bit review.

This tokusatsu series is aired in Indonesian commercial TV, RCTI every Sunday morning from middle until the end 2013.

I got this comic from my friend in Jakarta, he buy it in minimarket called Alfamart. The prize is Rp 7.500 ,-.

I repost the quote in the back in English:

"Ray Bramasakti never think when he's in vacation with Rena, a meteor comes down to the place where they sit. Inside those meteor coming an alien surrounded by some monsters."

"Ray trying to help those people to get away, but they be caught. At those time those alien give a power to Ray to change. Become a superhero named BIMA SATRIA GARUDA."

Comic Dimension: 24 comic pages (not include the commercials), 21 cm X 15 cm, Full Colors.

Paper: (probably) HVS.

Publish: Gramedia, December 2013.

The comic from the front, come with plastic to seal and keep it safe. You can see the art is quite good. I think it's a fusion between manga and American comic.

The back is just full with black color. The Bima Satria Garuda's logo at the top, the middle is some prologue. The bottom is the Bima Satria Garuda social account and Alfamart logo, also barcode in the left side.

The example of the page inside the comic. When Ray change to become Bima Satria Garuda. I admit if the art is quite cool. The colors detail is awesome.

This is the bonus inside, a two pieces of coloring pages. But I only take a pic one of them. For some kids it will be really fun to coloring their heroes. For mature, maybe it such a beautiful art. Good!

The last one is the mini poster bonus inside. The size is two pages of the comic. The picture is just like in the front page. It's cool when you can have it at your wall.

There it is, a little review of Bima Satria Garuda comic volume 1. The volume 2 is already come out, but I don't get it for now, will try to find that later. The story in this comic is a little bit different than the series, but it still cool to have this comic because the awesomeness of the art and it's quite cheap, just Rp 7.500 ,-. Cheaper than some Indonesian comics in book store, but this comic only have 24 pages, shame on that.
